Triple Smash Burgers with Sugar Lace Onions

After a quick, hot cook, these patties stay super juicy, filled with naturally beefy flavour. With our sugar lace onions, your favourite cheese and tucked into a pillowy bun, one just isn’t going to be enough. And you just wait til you see how easy it can be.
- 12 Meatballs
- 1 Onion, very finely sliced
- 12 Thin slices of your favourite cheese
- 2 Pickles, diced
- 4 Brioche burger buns
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- Oil for frying
Add your super finely sliced onions to a bowl and sprinkle the sugar in, then scrunch it up with your hands. Then, place a large frying pan on the hob on a high heat and add a slurp of oil.
Once the pan is hot, place a meatball and a pinch of the onions on it in the pan, three times and squash each one down with the back of a fish slice or spatula. Fry for about a minute on each side, then top each one with a slice of cheese, and stack them up.
Repeat 4 times to create four burgers. Place a stack in a buttered brioche bun, top with pickles and your favourite sauces and indulge.
*Note we haven't put a serving amount at the top because you're most definitely allowed more than one. Pairs nicely with a cold pint.
