Beacon Farms is a collective of the finest British farmers and producers, united by a simple belief: the finest food comes from deep respect for the land, the animals, and the craft. We raise and source from a hand selected network of Britain’s most dedicated farmers; people who still farm traditionally, regeneratively, and with patience. Beacon Farms exists to reconnect people with truly good food. Food raised properly, prepared expertly, and rooted in something real.

Simon has been rearing pigs, just a few miles down the road from us, on the rugged Devon coast for over 40 years. Truth be told, there’s little he doesn’t know about pig farming. On his small, family-run farm, Simon raises his pigs in conditions that far exceed standard free-range practices. His commitment to extensive farming and exceptional animal welfare results in pork with a naturally sweet flavour and melt-in-the-mouth texture you simply won’t find elsewhere. Simon’s pigs are a hardy crossbreed of Landrace, Red Duroc, and Hampshire – chosen for their resilience through the changing UK seasons and for the quality of their meat. Pig farming in Britain is no easy task, and Simon meets every challenge with remarkable care and dedication. At Beacon Farms, we rear our own native breed of beef in the heart of Devon, where the land’s rich heritage and natural beauty create the perfect environment for exceptional quality. James and Will tend to a carefully managed herd of Ruby Red Devon cattle on a small, rented farm, where every aspect of their care is rooted in a commitment to harmony with nature. Our cattle are exclusively fed a natural, grass-based diet, allowing them to graze freely and develop at their own pace. This slow, methodical process ensures the finest beef, with a deep, rich flavor and unparalleled tenderness. Once the beef reaches its peak, it is transported to our family butcher just five miles down the road, where our expert team of master butchers begin their craft. For exactly 28 days, each cut is dry-aged with precision and care, allowing the meat to naturally soften and intensify in flavor. This meticulous process transforms the beef, ensuring a melt-in-the-mouth tenderness and a depth of taste that is nothing short of extraordinary. Our grass-fed lamb is sourced directly from our carefully managed farm, nestled in the picturesque, rolling hills of Devon. Will, who has been farming from a young age, oversees our flock of heritage-breed sheep with great care, aided by Jon, our loyal sheepdog. We take great pride in rearing our lambs naturally, allowing them to graze exclusively on lush forage and nutrient-rich grasslands as part of a sustainable, regenerative farming system. This slow, thoughtful process and their natural diet foster the growth of healthy, well-balanced lambs, resulting in meat that is exceptionally tender, with a depth of flavour that is unmatched. Every cut of lamb is carefully prepared by our skilled family butchers, located just five miles down the road, before being delivered directly to your door. It’s a direct connection from our farm to your table, ensuring the highest quality and transparency in every bite. It truly doesn’t get better than this.

Our Wild Venison is a by-product of vital conservation work in Devon, which helps maintain sustainable deer populations while enhancing biodiversity in our cherished farm and woodland habitats. As Curtis roams the hills of Exmoor at dawn and dusk, he carefully selects the finest venison.
